General Data Protection Regulation GDPR - Understanding and Implementation
The European Union has issued a new data protection regulation, known as GDPR, which will replace the current 1995 European Data Protection Directive.
The purpose of this regulation is to ensure that the legal framework for Data Protection remains relevant and abode by throughout the European Union. The GDPR affects all organizations within the EU, containing new and increased liabilities.
Participant Requirements:
Participants must be individuals employed in any kind of company / organization, who are or will be responsible for the processing of data and the individuals employed in an organization, who are or will be responsible for the protection of such data. Participants may also be IT Security Officers, law firm executives and business consultants.
